The Anomaly Pass is a hybrid mockumentary and interactive experience about a team hired to digitally preserve a forest, only to discover that their scans are revealing patterns that exist across space and time, and that those who follow them too closely don’t disappear… they become part of the reconstruction itself.

The Anomaly Pass begins as a grounded, contemporary story about digital preservation and immersive technology, and slowly reveals something far more unsettling: that the tools we use to capture reality may be exposing patterns that have always been there, long before we had the language to describe them.

What if the filters of perception fall away, revealing an ancient and unsettling layer of reality, one that challenges our understanding of time, space, and existence? The Anomaly Pass bridges the gap between cosmic and folk horror, while exploring the uncanny edge of technology and its glitches to question what we know about ourselves, and the strange universe we inhabit.
